Laboratories
Dynamics Laboratory
Head of laboratory: Ing. Lubomír Houfek, Ph.D.
The laboratory of dynamics, noise and vibrations is equipped with Bruel&Kjaer PULSE analyser with a wide range of options in vibro-diagnostics, noise measurement and modal properties of machine systems. For educational and research purposes, the laboratory has an experimental Rotor Kit RK-4 stand (it allows for physical simulation of various operation modes of high-speed rotor systems).
Laboratory of Experimental Mechanics and Laboratory of Experimental Strength of Materials
Head of laboratory: Ing. Lubomír Houfek, Ph.D.
The laboratory is equipped with strain gauges, power, pressure and momentum sensors, central measuring stations and HBM software. In particular, there are the following devices: UPM 100 central measuring station, two Spider measuring amplifiers (each with 8 channels) for dynamic measuring and an MGC plus system with 16 channels for dynamic measurements.
Applied Mechanics Laboratory
Head of laboratory: doc. Ing. Zdeněk Florian, CSc.
The laboratory is mainly used for the preparation of biological samples. The laboratory also offers a device for determining the constitutive relationships of the rubber rigidity boundaries with biaxial state of stress and a device for conducting tests on rubber and biological samples with biaxial load.
Shared Laboratory of Mechanical Material Testing
Head of laboratory: doc. Ing. Tomáš Návrat, Ph.D.
The laboratory is equipped with the ZWICK Z 020-TND testing machine. It allows for computer-controlled loading of samples under tension, pressure and torsion including combinations ranging from -60°C to +250°C.
Mechatronics Laboratory (MechLab)
Head of laboratory: doc. Ing. Robert Grepl, Ph.D.
